Nursing Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant And Aged or Disabled Carer.
The salary for a Nursing Support Worker and Personal Care Assistant can range from approximately $50,000 to AUD 70,000 annually.
Australian Government’s Aged Care Industry Labour Agreement.
Aged Care Providers who have entered into an Industry Labour Agreement can recruit overseas workers where qualified Australians are unavailable. The Agreement is an initiative of the Department of Home Affairs to address current workforce shortages in the aged care industry in Australia.
- Sponsor overseas workers for the Temporary Skill Shortage (Subclass 482) visa in direct care occupations such as:
- Nursing Support Worker
- Personal Care Assistant
- Aged or Disabled Carer

- For Personal Care Assistants & Nursing Support Workers, those with overseas qualifications must be assessed by https://www.anmac.org.au
- For Aged or Disabled Carers, those with overseas qualifications must be assessed by https://www.acwa.org.au
